Pleasure
We are complaining about suffering we encounter in this world. But it seems to me that it was our conscious decision to come to this kind of world. There are many kinds of worlds, but we chooses this one, full of suffering. Why is that? It is our lust for pleasure. Our spiritual level is very low and we can not let go of pleasure. So the pleasure is source of the suffering we encounter, one may ask? Why is that? The reason is that pleasure can not exist without non-pleasure (pain, "normal" state). Imagine the world where there is only pleasure, you never knew what pain is. The problem is than it is impossible, because pleasure can only exist with knowledge and experience of non-pleasure state. If we would not know non-pleasure state, than pleasure would not be pleasure anymore. How would we be able to compare if there is no memory of non-pleasure? There would be only one state of mind, but it would not be pleasure anymore. Another problem is that in such a state there would be no need for progress as nothing motivates us for progress, there is no more duality. So this world as a creation of out collective consciousness make sense after all, it allow us to develop our self by experiencing both states: pleasure and non-pleasure. By learning of letting go of both states pleasure and non-pleasure we can progress to the next level.
